Another loom knitting guide that I created a few years ago. Trying to find it a home where I can find it easily to refer others to it.
The tutorial is a PDF file. Please click this link to download it. The looms shown in the guide are no longer in production, however, the instructions still apply and can be worked on any other knitting loom.
One of the most important aspects of cable knitting is the yarn. For best results, please select a yarn with an inherent elasticity such as wool. Also, to have the cable “pop” more, use a solid color yarn, preferably lighter in color.
The video below is one I created for the Authentic Knitting Board company a few years ago–it shows one of the most common 4-stitch cables.
