Inara Scarf

A cool twist to the traditional drop-stitch scarf. In the Inara Scarf, the drop stitch design gets a new look.

The Inara scarf has a diamond design worked with yarn overs on a background of garter stitch. The background of garter stitch makes the design pop even more. Knit a small scarf with the design or knit more stitch pattern repeats and knit a beautiful shawl.

A yarn with wool (or natural fiber) content is recommended as the scarf needs to be blocked to be shown at its best!

Materials

Knitting Loom: Knitting loom with at least 15 pegs. Round blue Knifty Knitter was used in sample.

Yarn: 160 yards of worsted weight or heavy worsted weight yarn. 2 skeins of Lion Brand Cashmere Blend was used in sample.

Level: Intermediate

Skills required: Knit stitch, purl stitch, flat panel knitting, create a yarn over, drop a yarn over, slip stitch.

Notions: knitting tool, tapestry needle, 2 stitch markers/peg markers.
