When in doubt about how much yarn I will need, I consult with a yarn calculator. I recommend the one from Jimmybeanswool.com. I have been using it for a long time and it has always been a good starting point. When I order my yarn, I like to order about 10% more just in case. I much rather have extra than to run out.
